Donation Ideas - Be Creative!

The Auction Gala event will only be successful with the generosity of our community, including our businesses. If you have an item, gift certificate or service that you would like to donate to our auction please submit the form below. You may also contact us at mefspecialevents@gmail.com to be included in our catalog, donations must be received no later than February 9, 2024.

Donate a bottle or two of my favorite wine.

Donate airline miles/frequent flyer points.

Donate or procure a stay at a vacation home or timeshare (Tahoe? Hawaii? Mexico? Costa Rica?) 

Any time of year is great – blackout dates are okay, too!

Solicit hotels I regularly use for business to donate a 3-5 night stay.

Ask my company to donate use of a corporate apartment in a major City of interest.

Get my company to donate access to its luxury suite or premium tickets at a sporting event.

Get my company to or golf club to donate a round of golf at an exclusive course.

Use my business connection to arrange VIP or “behind the scenes” access to sports, entertainment or other special event or venue.

Get the venue where we held our annual holiday party to donate an event or package for a group of 8-10.

Donate my subscription seats to a sporting or arts event.

e.g. Warriors, 49ers, Raiders, Sharks, A’s, Giants, Theater, Ballet, Opera.

Ask my favorite salon or spa to donate a treatment (or even a girls’ spa day!).

Ask our favorite jeweler to donate a custom piece of jewelry.

Ask our favorite restaurant(s) to donate a dinner or lunch or other special package.

Ask our favorite chef/restaurant to prepare a meal in someone’s home.

Ask our favorite winery to donate a special bottle or case.

Invite my child(ren)’s camp(s) to market to our community by donating a week of camp in 2017.

Invite other after-school programs that we patronize to donate a session or birthday party.

Host or co-host a Pay-to-Play party or event.

Arrange an unforgettable or “priceless” adventure experience.

 e.g. fly a plane, drive a race car, make first tracks with Ski Patrol, tour the Bay Bridge, sailing, hot air balloon ride, kayaking, horseback riding, set off explosives at a demolition site
